Happy Christmas from the Butterware Team!

We hope you’ve had a successful year so far. Before 2018 draws to a close, here are 3 top tips for sandwich and lunchtime food specialists, taken from our 9 years of sales experience, to help you maximise profit in December.

1. Tailor your December menu

This time of year is an excellent opportunity to boost your sales. Many businesses will be closed for some of the Christmas period which will reduce your takings. You can correct that (and more) by promoting and boosting your sales in the run-up. Office buffets for parties can be very popular, as can things like breakfast baps - a great cure for the over-indulgence from the previous nights partying! By adding a separate all day breakfast menu over the Christmas period you can really help boost sales and cure the office hangover.

2. Add festive specialities

Also by adding festive offerings like a “Pigs in Blankets Breakfast Bap” you can really link into the theme of Christmas and create a premium product that customers will be naturally drawn to.

3. Tell your customers when you’re open (or not)

And while we’re mentioning winter breaks, don’t forget to add your closing days so you don’t disappoint your customers. You don’t want them placing large buffet orders while you’re at home carving the turkey!

If you are looking for a simple, effective and robust online ordering system for your lunchtime menus (whatever the time of year!) please contact the Butterware team via our website www.butterware.co.uk
